In 1927, the company took over ACE Motorcycle Manufacturing. As part of this, Artur Lemon joined Indian as their chief designer. Both events laid the foundations for the production of the Indian Four model range. The Indian Four was produced until 1942. Our Four dates from 1941. The 441-B features De Luxe specifications, notably including the chrome-plated exhaust system and the 110-mile speedometer. The Four was restored a few years ago and is in excellent condition, as documented in our photos. Frame and engine have the same numbers. The Indian Four models are excellent and, above all, comfortable, high-performance motorcycles.
