In 1955, the first Rumi Formichino were sold by the Autohaus Hohe Warte dealership in Vienna. Our Formichino is one of these early models. It can be recognised by the tool compartment on the right-hand side and the design of the rear light. Offered in Great Britain as "The little Ant" for 134 GBP, the Ant was not available in the German market at the time. The Austrians, on the other hand, had a big heart for the Ants. Collectors will appreciate that this ant still has its original varnish.
