The frame design typical of Leopoldo Tarantini is also evident on the Trial 50. The Trial 50 was ahead of its time as far as Italjet was concerned, as it was not until the 1970s that Italjet seized the opportunity to become involved in trial racing by taking on some of Bultacos racing riders and adopting Bultaco technology. The Trial 50 was designed for young people and, by the standards of the late 1960s, boasted an attractive design.
