General Information:
The name Horex is closely linked to the biography of Friedel Münch. First the Horex factories were in his neighbourhood and then Friedel Münch also got a job in the racing department at Horex in 1954. After a short time the employment relationship was dissolved and Friedel Münch concentrated on his own business. In the following years the Münch Spezial and also the Münch Horex RS were built in the Münch factory. In 1977 the circle closed when Horex Motorrad GmbH was founded in Erbstadt. The Horex Imperator offered by us is a reminder of this connection between Horex and Münch. Originally our bike was equipped with a Weber dual carburettor. But it turned out that the machine simply runs well in the current set-up. German vehicle documents are available.
